Welcome to Catalyst Vibes! We believe great design should be accessible to everyone. This license explains how you can use our illustrations in a way that's clear, fair, and easy to understand.
Understanding Our License Types
Every asset you download from Catalyst Vibes comes with one of two license types: Personal Use or Commercial Use. The type of license you receive depends on your subscription status and credit balance.

Personal Use License (Free)
Our Personal Use License is completely free and perfect for individuals, students, educators, and small projects. You can use assets with this license if:
- You're working on personal projects or portfolios
- Your business generates less than $1,000 in annual revenue
- You're creating educational or non-profit content
- You're posting non-commercial content on social media
With a Personal Use License, you can modify the assets, use them in digital or print projects, and share your final creations. However, you cannot use these assets for client work, commercial products, or advertising campaigns.
Commercial Use License (Credit-Based)
If you're running a business, working with clients, or generating revenue from your projects, you'll need a Commercial Use License. This license costs 10 credits per assetand unlocks full commercial rights. You need this license for:
- Businesses with over $1,000 in annual revenue
- Freelance and client work
- Products for resale (physical or digital)
- Commercial advertising and marketing campaigns
The Commercial Use License gives you extensive rights to use our assets professionally. Subscribed users automatically receive commercial licenses when they have sufficient credits. If your credits run out, you can continue downloading with Personal Use licenses until renewal.
What You Can Do
With a Commercial Use License, you have broad permissions including:
- Unlimited Projects: Use in as many commercial projects as you need
- Physical Products: Merchandise, packaging, print materials, apparel
- Digital Products: eBooks, templates, presentations, apps, websites
- Marketing Materials: Ads, social media, email campaigns, brochures
- Client Work: Deliver to clients as part of your services
- Modifications: Edit, adapt, and combine assets freely
- Broadcast Media: Videos, podcasts, streaming content
What You Cannot Do
To protect our artists and the integrity of our library, certain uses are prohibited:
- No Redistribution: You cannot resell, share, or redistribute the raw asset files
- No Trademark Use: You cannot register assets or derivatives as trademarks
- No Logo/Brand Identity: Assets cannot be the primary element of a logo or brand identity
In simple terms: you can use our assets in your products and projects, but you cannot sell or share the original files themselves.
Important Details
Attribution
Attribution is not required but always appreciated! If you'd like to credit us, a simple "Illustrations by Catalyst Vibes" works great.
Ownership
Catalyst Vibes retains copyright ownership of all assets. Your license grants you rights to use the assets, but not ownership of the original artwork.
Asset Rotation
Our library includes rotating free assets that change every 30 days (1st of each month). Assets marked as premium require a subscription to access, while rotation assets are available to all users with Personal Use licenses.
Warranty & Liability
All assets are provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. Catalyst Vibes is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our assets. Please review assets before use in critical projects.
License Certificate
For every commercial download, you'll receive a PDF license certificate in your dashboard. This certificate serves as proof of license for your records and can be shared with clients if needed. Certificates are valid for 30 days and can be regenerated at any time.
